Where it all started…
2022 marks one of the most venerable milestones for Brent Harvey, founder of KBH Entertainment. Fifty years ago on August 21st of 1972 Brent produced the “2nd Annual People’s Festival” in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. Twelve bands in twelve hours on two flatbed trucks. As a fearless and determined 15 year old, Brent persuaded the Anchorage City Counsel and local businesses to donate everything, with the exception of port-a-toilets totaling $278. Brent booked all the talent, coordinated the promotion, marketing and emceed this Alaskan version of Woodstock.
